College is pretty stupid

Posted by Thundaboom - August 25th, 2014

You know all those people who are forced to pay $200,000 for a piece of paper? I'm one of them now. It's just not like Newgrounds, you know? I think I once saw someone enjoy reading a book. One time I saw people discussing a mathematical thereom for fun. Did you know that professors are really just nerds who do nothing but type papers about the same subject every day? Why can't those people be normal and instead live in a society of criticism, paranoia and propaganda?

College is a business, like anything else. Unfortunately, for a lot of people its required in order to advance in life, and for others it just puts them in perpetual debt. Either way, someone is gonna make money off you, while you're left with a 50/50 chance that your degree does anything for you. Good luck with it, don't let it put you in perpetual debt.

What the guy below said.

If it's not gonna help you accomplish whatever you want to do in life you should drop out.

I agree 100% with Adidaas, I went to a community college before I transferred over to Sacramento State. I'm graduating next semester with only $15,000 to pay back. Its still a lot of money, but much better than some people I know who are going to have to pay back 2 - 3 times what I do.

why did you join college then if you already know how stupid it is? that seems even more stupid to me

Yeah, don't go to college unless you're getting a "real" degree, like engineering or science, or unless someone is paying for you.

Yeah I'm majoring in Electrical Mechanic Computer Engineering Science.

seems legit

You sohuld be set, then! Give me some of your hard earned money, please?

Yeah I didn't even graduate yet and my university decided to send me a check for $30,000.

I'll send you my bank infromation and you can forward me that money.

See your PMs for details.

WOW what a different environment. This is why i stay in professional kitchens: Cruel, disgruntled people, vulgar and sexually graphic humor, football pats for the men and women, senseless criticism and belligerent behavior, and many of us are either high all the time or coming in to work questionably still drunk from the night before. Yup, nobody typing redundant papers about nothing and people talking about math just for fun...

Kitchen life is the life for meeee!~
:s

I'm curious to how you found this.

Ok, i understand your comment now. Like i said, the choice is yours. Studies do not suit everyone, not in our society. I am lucky enough to have found a subject I like AND to live in a country where studies doesn't cost you an arm,a leg, your soul and your first-born baby (even tough its not exactly cheap).

I wish you luck in whatever you decided to do with your life. Diploma or not, one should be abble to live their dream.

Found this through years of service... :p

haha nah ur stupid

I know a lot of people at USC. I will take advantage of it.

Look at all these kids who aren't in college slamming on college

Man honestly, I was probably pissed off at something when I wrote this. I arrived on campus and was bothered at the many issues that come with going at a public university..math definitely doesn't suck and professors should keep on doing what they're doing, it's the only way the human race is able to go forward anyway.

Why did you delete my comment friend

? I didn't?

Oh sorry, I thought newer comments appeared on top. That must be new
